Directions

Do NOT use the postcode in a GPS Sat-Nav as it may try to direct you up an access road for emergency vehicles only. Set the system for Okehampton town centre, and once there, use the postcode.

From the East: Leave the A30 at Okehampton junction, and follow road for about 1 mile into the town. At the third set of traffic lights, on a crossroads junction, turn left following the signs to Okehampton Station and Youth Hostel. After 200m, take the 3rd turning right up Station Road. Follow this road, passing over the railway bridge and A30. There is a small turning on right after dual carriageway, which leads to an unmade road to YHA Bracken Tor. NB Large coaches will not find this easy to access, seek advice from our Managers for large groups arriving by coach.
