A refurbished Victorian house with timber features, this building stands in its own wooded grounds in the centre of the village, next to the banks of the unfenced River Exe and in the heart of Exmoor National Park.
The lounge seats up to 20 people and the dining room seats 34. There is also a large TV and board games for guests.
The self-catering kitchen contains three domestic sized cookers, four hobs, two fridges, one freezer, two microwaves, kettles and a range of kitchen utensils crockery and cutlery for 34 people. Tea towels, bin bags and washing up liquid are provided. A catering service is available if arranged in advance.
YHA Exford has 49 beds arranged in 3x2, 2x3, 4x4, and 1x6 bedded rooms. The hostel has a further 3 en-suite rooms on the 1st floor, with 1x4, 1x5, 1x6 bedded rooms. All bed linen is provided.
The hostel also has 5 showers and 5 toilets, but you will need to bring your own towels.
YHA Exford welcomes dogs! Add a dog to your booking at check out and bring your four legged friend along with you.

This is a great location for mountain biking, horse riding and other outdoor activities. The hostel is situated by the River Exe surrounded by open hills and wooded valleys.
