This well-equipped bunkhouse in the Shropshire Hills offers immediate access to the Long Mynd for walks, bike rides and bird watching. For those keen on walking between hostels, this bunkhouse is within comfortable distance of YHA Bridges and YHA Clun. Church Stretton is easily accessible for a pleasant day’s shopping, and the county town of Shrewsbury is just 25 minutes away.

The self-catering kitchen contains one domestic sized cooker, one microwave oven, one fridge, one kettle, and a range of kitchen utensils, crockery, and cutlery for guests to use during their stay. Tea towels, bin bags, washing up liquid and soap are provided.

The cosy lounge area has comfy sofa seating for guests to use, and the dining area fits 10 people with 1 table and 10 chairs. There are also fantastic views of the surrounding meadows. Highchairs are also available.

Novers includes 2 single beds. With shared bathroom facilities.
Synalds includes 2 sets of bunk beds. With shared bathroom facilities.
Caradoc includes 2 sets of bunk beds. With shared bathroom facilities.
All bedlinen is provided.
There is 1 shower and 2 toilets close to the bedrooms. Soap is available with every sink. Toilet paper is also provided.

On the day of arrival, the Hostel is available from 4.00pm. On the day of departure you are asked to vacate by 10am

There is a small car park which accommodates 4 cars.
From Shrewsbury: Take the A49, sign posted Hereford/Leominster for 11 miles. Turn right on to the B5477, sign posted All Stretton. After approximately a mile, you will pass a large care home on your left and the Yew Tree pub on your right – turn right immediately after the pub, signposted ‘Village Hall.’ Follow the road to the end and cross the cattle grid. Once on the track and past the houses you will find there is a fence on your right – follow this fence. The track will start to climb, continue to follow it and you will come to the parking space outside the double garage. Leave the car here; walk on to the track and turn right. Walk up the hill – the bunkhouse is the second building on your right.
From Ludlow: go through the traffic lights at Church Stretton and continue the A49 until you come to the B5477 – do not take the earlier left turns sign posted All Stretton. Then follow directions above.
From Much Wenlock: when you come to the traffic lights on the A49, before Church Stretton village, turn right and continue the A49 until you come to the B5477. Then follow directions above.
Walking/cycling from Church Stretton train station: walk/cycle out of the station drive and continue up Sandford Avenue to the crossroads. Turn right and walk/cycle for approximately 1.5 miles until you will see a sign to the ‘Village Hall’ on your left. Take this turn and follow the instructions for ‘Driving from Shrewsbury’ from point 4.
