A beautifully restored Dominican friary cited in the Canterbury Tales, this lovely accommodation near the Yorkshire Wolds is in a quiet corner of this thriving town. Near the Minster, it’s ideal for exploring this ancient town on a weekend break. If you fancy venturing further afield, there’s easy access to Hull, the stunning city of York and the Yorkshire Wolds – perfect for walking holidays and cycling holidays, while the coast is just 15 minutes away. YHA Beverley is a great choice for activity breaks and family breaks in Yorkshire.

The self-catering kitchen is equipped with one microwave, two domestic sized cookers, two kettles, two domestic sized fridges, two domestic sized freezer, two toasters, two grills and a range of kitchen utensils, crockery, and cutlery for 32 people. Tea towels, bin bags, washing up liquid and soap are provided.
Dining room and lounge
The cosy lounge, quiet room and dining room is adjoined to the self-catering kitchen. There is ample seating for 32 guests and overlooks the pretty hostels gardens. You can find out all about the history of the hostel, as the walls are engulfed with interesting information. Highchairs are also available.

One six-bedded room with en-suite. Includes 3 sets of bunk beds.
One five-bedded room. Includes 2 sets of bunk beds and 1 single bed. With shared bathroom facilities.
One six-bedded room. Includes 3 sets of bunk beds. With shared bathroom facilities.
One four-bedded room with en-suite. Includes 2 sets of bunk beds.
One three-bedded room with en-suite. Includes 1 double bed with single bunk over.
One eight-bedded room. Includes 4 sets of bunk beds. With shared bathroom facilities.
All bedlinen is provided.
There are 7 showers and 7 toilets available throughout the building for guests to use. Soap is available with every sink. Toilet paper is also provided.
There are plenty of cycling trails nearby, including Route 65 Route 65 which follows the edge of the picturesque North York Moors National Park.

Check-in and Check-out times
On the day of arrival, the Hostel is available from 4.00pm. On the day of departure you are asked to vacate by 10am.
Beverley is one of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets. There is so much to see and do around the area, suitable for everybody. The town is home to an excellent range of quirky shops and restaurants, the historic Beverley Minister, and a beautiful, medieval skyline. Beverley is the perfect holiday destination.
There is car parking available for guests to use, enough for 8 cars.
From Beverley centre, locate the Beverley Minster by sight (tallest building in Beverley!) and turn into Friars’ Lane. The hostel is a at the end of the lane on the left. Towards Flemingate Shopping Centre.
