The duty of care we have to our guests, beneficiaries, staff and partners compels us to progress and open our hostels with caution and careful consideration in the best interests of the charity and those it serves.
For the foreseeable future, YHA Boscastle will operate on an Exclusive Hire basis only, with contact-free check in.

Nestled in a steep sided valley on the rugged north Cornwall coast, YHA Boscastle is an ideal spot to watch the pretty, bustling fishing village come to life during the day and return to a sleepier place in the evenings. Excellent surfing, sailing and masses of coastal footpaths to explore.
What is great about YHA Boscastle?
A great location for walking fanatics, with three church walks, Valency Valley, and a beautiful coastal path right on your doorstep.
Crackington Haven is the nearest beach with a variety of cafes and pubs nearby.
Close to St Necturns Glen- a beautiful woodland with a waterfall and a local legend.
The self-catering kitchen is equipped with ample storage space in cupboards, two cookers/ovens, two microwaves, three fridges, one freezer, three kettles, three toasters with plenty of pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery available for all guests.
Tea towels, bin bags, washing up liquid and soap are provided.
Dining room and lounge
There is a combined seating area for up to 28 people with 6 tables, 8 chairs and benches. The two lounges are equipped with soft seating and the conservatory overlooks the pretty fields beyond. The lounge is also equipped a TV and DVD player. A highchair is also available.

YHA Boscastle includes:
One five-bedded room. Includes 3 single beds and 1 set of bunk beds. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
One four-bedded room. Includes 1 double bed and 1 set of bunk beds. With shared bathroom facilities.
One three-bedded room. Includes 1 double bed with single bunk over. With a sink and shared bathroom facilities.
One six-bedded room. Includes 6 single beds. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
One six-bedded accessible room with en-suite. Includes 1 double bed with single bunk over, 1 set of bunk beds and a single bed.
One four-bedded toom with en-suite. Includes 1 double bed with single bunk over and 1 single bed. This room also has its own kitchen and washing machine.
All bedlinen is provided.
There are 5 showers, 6 toilets and 2 fully en-suite rooms (one suitable for disabled access). Soap is available with every sink. Toilet paper is also provided.

Check-in and Check-out times
On the day of arrival, the Hostel is available from 4.00pm. On the day of departure you are asked to vacate by 10am.
Boscastle is a stunning harbour and elegant village hidden in a steep sided valley. Boscastle is an excellent base for exploring everything that Cornwall has to offer, including pretty fells, enchanted wooden valleys and coastal footpaths offering breath-taking views to spread for miles.
Perfect for everyone from single travellers, to family holidayers, YHA Boscastle makes the ideal base for your Cornish coastal break in a pretty, bustling fishing village which typifies the local area.
Surfing and coasteering schools in Bude and Widemouth Bay.
Tintagel Castle is a short drive away from YHA Boscastle.
Cycle hire shops are dotted around Bude and Wadebridge.
There is 1 parking space at the hostel. All other cars should park in the Main Car park in the village next to the Spar shop. The post cade is PL350HG. It is free from 5 pm to 10am. You must pay during the day which is £5.10.
Drive from Exeter on the A 30 towards Launceston. Take the A 395 towards Otterham. Turn right onto A39 then take left turn to Marsh gate, then left on to B3263 into the Village of Boscastle. Take the right turn before the bridge following the river to the sea. The hostel is the last building on the right by the slipway.
