For the foreseeable future, YHA Eastbourne will operate on an Exclusive Hire basis only, with contact-free check in.

YHA Eastbourne offers newly built accommodation of a high standard on the South Downs. The area is great for family breaks on the South Downs. Only one mile from the town centre and seafront, it is the perfect base for a country or seaside holiday. Eastbourne’s famous pier, bandstand, stunning beach, and attractions are all within easy reach.
We are a half an hour (very scenic) stroll from the bustle of Eastbourne town centre and all its charm. With award-winning beaches, a beautiful coastline, and a Victorian vibe all its own, this seaside resort is Brighton’s scenic sibling. Catch the land train along the seafront, soak up the art scene in the Towner Art Gallery, or build a sandcastle in sight of the busiest bandstand in the UK.

The self-catering kitchen is fully equipped with two cooking stations with ovens, one microwave, one fridge, one freezer and all the other cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery, you need to create delicious meals for you and your loved ones. Tea towels, bin bags, washing up liquid and soap are provided.

The hostel has a spacious dining room which seats 25. There is also a cosy lounge which includes a TV and DVD player. Catch up with the news on the widescreen TV or wind down with a book or a board game. Highchairs are also available

One three-bedded room with en-suite. Includes 1 set of bunk beds and 1 single bed.
Two four-bedded rooms with en-suite. Includes 2 sets of bunk beds.
One six-bedded room with en-suite. Includes 3 sets of bunk beds.
One five-bedded room with en-suite. Includes 1 set of bunk beds and 1 double bed with single bunk over.
One two-bedded room with en-suite. Includes 1 set of bunk beds.
One seven-bedded room with en-suite. Includes 3 sets of bunk beds and 1 single bed.
All bedlinen is provided.
All bedrooms are en-suite. There is an additional toilet in the entrance area. Soap is available with every sink. Toilet paper is also provided.

Visit Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters with their dramatic white cliffs.
The water sports centre on the seafront offers courses in sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and much more.

On the day of arrival, the Hostel is available from 4.00pm. On the day of departure you are asked to vacate by 10am.
Enjoy the traditional seaside town of Eastbourne located on the south east coast. There is plenty to do in this pretty seaside town. From discovering the nearby South Downs countryside to exploring the Eastbourne’s vibrant art scene and taking in one of many museums or galleries, you will find something to suit you in Eastbourne.
Eastbourne’s excellent beaches were made for buckets and spades, deckchairs and fish and chips, and for people who love water sports, there are plenty of activities on offer. Eastbourne and the surrounding area of East Sussex are also famed for its abundance of parks and forests, perfect for walking holidays.
We have space for a large coach suitable for group visits. The postcode for car park is BN20 8ES and access is off the East Dean road (A259) between Seaford and Eastbourne.

YHA Eastbourne welcomes dogs! Add a dog to your booking at check out and bring your four-legged friend along with you.
At YHA Eastbourne we strive to cater for everybody. All our rooms are on the ground floor, and one has an en-suite bathroom which contains grab rails and a fold down shower chair. However, there is no step free access to the hostel currently.
