YHA Haworth is a stunning Gothic Victorian mansion built in the late 1800s. The building boasts a grand entrance hall, oak carved staircase, stained glass, and grand fireplaces throughout. It is located one mile from the bustling centre of Haworth, most well known as the birthplace of the Brontes.
Haworth plays hosts to a wonderful variety of independent shops and cafes, but most famously the Bronte Parsonage museum. YHA Haworth has a self-catering kitchen equipped with all the kitchen appliances, pots and pans, crockery, and cutlery for guests to use to cook meals during their stay. The self-catering kitchen is situated on the lower ground floor. Tea towels, bin bags, washing up liquid and soap are provided.
Dining room and lounge
The oak-panelled dining room seats 50 people on tables of 4-6. The lounge area has four sofas, three armchairs and a television- perfect for winding down after a day’s exploring.

One seven-bedded room with en-suite. Includes 1 double bed with single bunk over and 2 sets of bunk beds.
Two six-bedded rooms. Includes 3 sets of bunk beds. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
One seven-bedded room. Includes 1 double bed with single bunk over and 2 sets of bunk beds. With shared bathroom facilities.
One three-bedded room. Includes 1 set of bunk beds and 1 single bed. With shared bathroom facilities.
Two one-bedded rooms. Includes 1 single bed. With shared bathroom facilities.
All bedlinen is provided.
There are 8 showers and 12 toilets close to the bedrooms, 1 of each being accessible on the ground floor. Soap is available with every sink. Toilet paper is also provided.
Bronte Bridge and Waterfalls is a 7-mile round trip walk from the hostel; however you can get much nearer if you are happy to drive a short distance. There are a few small rocks which are great for little adventurers to clamber over. The views are fantastic, and it makes the perfect spot for a picnic in the summer.
Hardcastle Crags is an extensive area of National Trust woodland situated a mile from the centre of Hebden Bridge, a 20-minute drive from YHA Haworth. The woodland is full of wildlife; with everything from butterflies to deer.
Bolton Abbey is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The grounds around the old ruins of Bolton Priory are very spacious, so the perfect spot for little ones to let off some steam. There are many miles of walking routes around the estate as well as a beach, a river shallow enough for toddlers to paddle and the famous 60 steppingstones for the older children. A fun day out for the family.

On the day of arrival, the Hostel is available from 4.00pm. On the day of departure you are asked to vacate by 10.00am.
Haworth is a bustling Yorkshire village, well known as the birthplace of the Brontes. YHA Haworth is located at the end of a housing estate and has a large car park which has space for 15-20 cars directly outside the main entrance of the hostel.
If travelling from the north, you will most likely take the A629 through the town of Keighley. From here you can follow signs to Haworth. The hostel is situated a mile before you reach Haworth in the village of Lees & Crossroads. From the south/motorways, you are likely to come off the motorway in Halifax and will be able to follow directions to Keighley. The hostel postcode is BD22 8RT.
