YHA Ingleton is an old Victorian house, situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, in the stunning village of Ingleton – giving great access to miles of walking routes leading to some of England’s most stunning countryside, caves, waterfalls and mountains.
There is plenty to do for keen walkers, climbers, mountain bikers and cavers including top spots, White Scar Cave, The Waterfalls Walk; starting from Ingleton, Ribblehead Viaduct, the Pennine Way and Gisburn Forest mountain bike trails.
If you are looking for more of a challenge, why not take on the Three Peaks? YHA Ingleton is ideally situated near Ingleborough, the best known of Yorkshire’s Three Peaks, making it a great starting point to then take on Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside.
If you are looking for something a little more relaxing, why not hop in the car and take a trip to the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, the Forest of Bowland or Morecambe Bay – all a short drive from the hostel.
The hostel sleeps 64 in 1 x 2, 7 x 4, 2 x 5 (en-suite) and 4 x 6 bed rooms. The 5-bed rooms have a double bed in them. All bedrooms have washbasins and all bedding/linen is provided. We have no ground floor/accessible rooms. There is free Wi-Fi available.
The dining room has seating for 60 people maximum at any one sitting. The lounge has 5 sofas and 3 easy chairs. The TV lounge has 2 sofas and 2 easy chairs. A DVD Player is available on request.
The self-catering kitchen contains gas hobs, an oven, microwave, fridge and kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery for up to 60 people. Tea towels and cloths are provided.
There are six showers and nine toilets, excluding en-suites. Towels are available to hire from reception for £2 or please bring your own.
There is a grassed garden to the front and side of the hostel. There is also a park next door, next to the river.
The hostel has central heating via a gas boiler.
There is parking on site for up to 10 cars and large buses can park in the nearby visitor centre car park.
YHA Ingleton is located in Ingleton Village Centre, close to the Outdoor Pool and Children’s Play Area, once in the Village simply head for the centre and follow the YHA signs.

At YHA Ingleton we strive to cater for everybody. All of our bedrooms are on the first floor and unfortunately none currently meet modern standards of accessibility.
