Residing within the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, YHA Ironbridge Coalport occupies the oldest surviving Coalport china works building. Perfect for activity breaks, offering cycling and walking routes which take you around the local area.
For a more cultured break, take a short trip to the museum, which is located right next door, where you can see examples of the china which made Coalport famous.

The self-catering kitchen is facilities include three domestic cookers, one microwave, three toasters, three kettles, four fridges and one freezer. There is a good range of kitchen utensils, baking trays, pans and enough crockery and cutlery. The kitchen is small, so larger groups would be advised to visit in advance to plan meals.
Tea towels, black bin bags and washing up liquid are provided.
Dining area and lounge
(Please note guests would not be able to use the hostel main dining room as this is for café operation only)
The cosy lounge has ample of comfy sofas and tables with seating for around 24. The adjoining games room has a selection of toys, books, a pool table, and a TV. There is a second lounge on the third floor under the former Bell Tower with some low seating for around 20 people. The self-catering dining room comfortably seats 40. There is also a highchair available.
There is WiFi in the communal spaces and some bedrooms, with limited mobile signal.

All bedlinen is provided.
Some bedrooms are en-suites, but there are 9 showers and13 toilets for guests to use. Soap is available with every sink. Toilet paper is also provided.

Check-in and Check-out times
On the day of arrival, the Hostel is available from 4.00pm. On the day of departure you are asked to vacate by 10am.
The town of Ironbridge is a popular tourist attraction with its famous bridge, quirky independent shops and trendy bars, cafes, and restaurants.
There is plenty to see and do in and around Ironbridge for all ages and abilities. There are 10 interesting museums and attractions within the gorge area itself, so you can experience life as it was over 100 years ago through the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of a recreated Victorian Town.
If you fancy embracing an outdoor adventure, then explore the beautiful Shropshire countryside by foot or bike, or even take part in kayaking, canoeing and white water rafting along the River Severn.
Parking is at the rear of the hostel with space for 40-50 vehicles and 7 disabled bays. Parking is £3 a day and for Blue Badge holders it is free of charge. There is a separate parking bay for two coaches.
From Telford or the M54 follow signs to Coalport Museums (Blists Hill Victorian Town and China Museum) YHA Ironbridge Coalport is situated on the same site as Coalport China Museum.
