The duty of care we have to our guests, beneficiaries, staff and partners compels us to progress and open our hostels with caution and careful consideration in the best interests of the charity and those it serves.
For the foreseeable future, YHA London Oxford Street will operate on an Exclusive Hire basis only, with contact-free check in.

YHA London Oxford Street offers comfortable and quirky accommodation in London’s West End. A diverse mix of cafes, pubs, cinemas, quirky boutiques, and alternative nightlife are all within a 5-minute walk of the hostel.
London’s major attractions are all easily accessible from the hostel. If shopping is your thing then we are only a block away from London’s famous Oxford Street, Europe’s largest high street.
What is great about YHA London Oxford Street?

Walking distance to most big attractions in London, such as Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben, London Eye and Buckingham Palace.
The colourful and bright self-catering kitchen is equipped with four kitchen hobs with four rings each, two microwaves, four sinks, a toaster, a kettle, with plenty of pots, pans, chopping boards, crockery, and cutlery for guests to use during their stay. Tea towels, bin bags, washing up liquid and soap are provided.
Dining room and lounge
The dining room and lounge area has a colourful café style layout with 9 tables, and 2 breakfast bars and room for around 30 people. There are multiple places to relax, read and enjoy your delicious meals, including 2 long benches. There is also a TV and a water fountain in the lounge for guests to enjoy.

YHA London Oxford Street includes 104 beds:
Eight two-bedded rooms. Includes 1 set of bunk beds. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
Thirteen four-bedded rooms. Includes 2 sets of bunk beds. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
Six three-bedded rooms. Includes 1 set of bunk beds and 1 single bed. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
Nine two-bedded rooms. Includes 1 double bed. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
All bedlinen is provided.
There are 12 showers and 11 toilets close to the bedrooms. Soap is available with every sink. Toilet paper is also provided.

Check-in and Check-out times
On the day of arrival, the Hostel is available from 4.00pm. On the day of departure you are asked to vacate by 10am.
There is nowhere quite like London, as there is always something new to see or do.
Do a spot of sightseeing, taking in famous landmarks like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Tower Bridge, or spend your day exploring the capital’s immense wealth of museums and art galleries, many of which are free to enter.
Otherwise, you may want to live it up in the quirky bars of Soho and Shoreditch, grab a bite to eat in one of the many vibrant cafés or tea rooms, or explore the beautiful London gardens. Whatever you choose, you certainly will not be disappointed.
There is a Q Park car park 50 meters from the hostel however, this is expensive for overnight use. Please note guests will also need to pay the London congestion charge as the hostel is in the heart on London.
From Oxford Circus, take exit 8. Turn left onto Argyll St and walk to the end where you will see the giant old-style department store, Liberty. Turn left and walk down Great Marlborough St, until you get to the cross road, if you look up to the right you will see a giant mural of a tree, the hostel is just to the left of that.
There are three steps up to the hostel entrance. The hostel lift only goes to the 3rd floor. Bedrooms on the 4th and 5th floor are only accessible by the stairs. The showers on 3rd floor have two steps into them.
