The Yorkshire Dales is renowned for its walking terrain, and there are not many better reasons as to why than a visit to Malham Cove and Gordale Scar. Formed by a melting glacier at the end of the last Ice Age, the unique limestone landscape of Malham Cove offers a tough ascent but one which is rewarded by superb views of the valley and village below. The area has also featured in the world-renowned Harry Potter films, drawing more attention to one of the wonders of Yorkshire.
Please note YHA Malham Annexe is within the same grounds as YHA Malham Main Building.
There is space on-site for 15 cars and additional parking can be found two minutes’ walk away in the village of Malham.
