What is great about YHA Sheringham?

There is a self-catering kitchen for communal cooking with plenty of preparation areas and washing facilities. It contains three ovens with four hobs each, one fridge, one freezer, a microwave, and a range of kitchen utensils, crockery, and cutlery for guests to use. Tea towels, bin bags, washing up liquid and soap are provided.
Dining room and lounge
There are two dining rooms within the hostel. The large dining room has the capacity for 60 people, with 15 tables and 60 chairs. The smaller dining room next to the self-catering kitchen has capacity for 20 guests. There are also two lounges. The large lounge and TV room seats 20 people, with ample comfortable seating for guests to relax in. The smaller, quiet room seats 10 people, and is perfect if you want a little more privacy. There is also a games room equipped with a pool table and table football for guests to use. Highchairs are also available.

YHA Sheringham includes 40 beds:
One three-bedded room. Includes 1 single bed and 1 set of bunk beds. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
Two five-bedded rooms. Includes 1 double bed with single bunk over and 1 set of bunk beds. With sink, toilet, and shared shower facilities.
One five-bedded room. Includes 1 double bed with single bunk over and 1 set of bunk beds. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
Two two-bedded rooms. Includes 1 set of bunk beds. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
Four four-bedded rooms. Includes 2 sets of bunk beds. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
Two three-bedded rooms. Includes 1 set of bunk beds and 1 single bed. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
Two three-bedded rooms. Includes 1 double bed with single bunk over. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
One six-bedded rooms. Includes 3 sets of bunk beds. With sink and shared bathroom facilities.
All bedlinen is provided.
There are 8 showers and 9 toilets throughout the hostel for guests to use. Soap is available with every sink. Toilet paper is also provided.
Explore the beauty of this part of the country with by foot. ‘Pretty Corner’ near Sheringham (10-15-minute walk from the hostel) has been named among the best open spaces in the UK, so make sure you pay a visit during your stay.
Priory Maze and Gardens is one of the most charming gardens in Norfolk, with a challenging maze for everyone to enjoy. Experience peace and tranquillity in natural gardens of woodland, water, and meadow.
Join one of the daily boat trips from either Blakeney or Morston harbours to see the seals and birds in their natural environment at the National Trust run Blakeney Point.
Need to know
Sheringham is a traditional seaside town situated in Norfolk, with plenty of things to see and do. Sheringham’s award-winning beach is family friendly and has scenic walks along the seafront. You can also find the heritage steam railway, independent shops, pubs and cafes, the weekly town market, and fantastic countryside and coastal walks, perfect for even little legs! Sheringham an brilliant place to stay for a holiday in north Norfolk.
There is an off-road car park which has capacity for around 20 cars, or 2 coaches or 8 minibuses.
Entering Sheringham from the A148, go downhill to the roundabout, turn right, and take the first road on right (Cremer’s Drift) between the fire station and the church. The hostel is on the left just after the church.
