For the foreseeable future, YHA Wilderhope Manor will operate on an Exclusive Hire basis only, with contact-free check in.

The self-catering kitchen contains two domestic sized electric cookers, two fridges, one freezer, one microwave, one kettles, two toasters, and a range of kitchen utensils, crockery, and cutlery for guests to use during their stay. Tea towels, bin bags, washing up liquid and soap are provided.
Dining room and lounge
The Parlour room is used as the main lounge and has a wood burning stove with a selection of comfy sofas and chairs. On the second floor there is an additional small sitting room. The Great Hall is used as the dining room and is the centre of the manor and boasts the longest surviving bow rack in the country. Highchairs are also available.

Cadbury Suite includes one king sized, 4 poster bed and 2 single beds. With en-suite.
Smallman includes 2 sets of bunk beds and 1 single bed. With shared bathroom facilities.
Lutwyche includes 2 sets of bunk beds and 1 single bed. With shared bathroom facilities.
Wren’s Nest includes 1 double bed with single bunk over. With shared bathroom facilities.
Pudding Bag includes 1 double bed with single bunk over and 1 set of bunk beds. With en-suite.
Hope Dale includes 1 double bed with single bunk over and 2 sets of bunk beds. With shared bathroom facilities.
Wenlock Edge includes 6 single beds. With shared bathroom facilities.
Corvedale includes 7 single beds. With shared bathroom facilities.
All bedlinen is provided.
There are 11 showers and 10 toilets throughout the hostel for guests to use. Soap is available with every sink. Toilet paper is also provided.
The Shropshire Hills Area of Natural Beauty is only 10 minutes away from the hostel, with the Long Mynd, Striperstones and Caer Caradoc offering plenty of walking and cycling options.
Cardingmill Valley is the gate way to the Shropshire Hills and has a stream running through the valley, ideal for a family picnic and chance for the little ones to splash about.
There are numerous National Trust and English Heritage properties to explore within 30 minutes of the hostel, including Attingham Park, Stokesay Castle, Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, Roman Place and Wenlock Priory.

Check-in and Check-out times
On the day of arrival, the Hostel is available from 4.00pm. On the day of departure you are asked to vacate by 10am.
There is plenty to see and do in Shropshire. Shropshire is full of grand houses and castles with picturesque gardens, the famous Ironbridge, museums, and family attractions, to suit every taste and preference. The Shropshire landscape creates special surroundings for wildlife spotting, so make sure to bring your binoculars. Whether you are rambling on the Shropshire Hills or having a fun-filled family day out at one of the many attractions, you are guaranteed a great time.

There is parking next to the hostel for 25 cars or 1 coach and 15 cars.
From Much Wenlock, turn right onto A458 towards Shrewsbury, and take the second left onto B4371 towards Church Stretton. Continue for 6 miles to Longville in the Dale. Take the first left (please note this turning is not well signposted) and continue up the lane for three quarters of a mile before turning left into the hostel’s drive.
YHA Wilderhope Manor welcomes up to 4 dogs! Add a dog to your booking at check out and bring your four-legged friend along with you. Please note: your furry friends must remain on the ground floor so please bring a way of keeping them safe overnight.
